Stephen Cusella

Owner / Co-Founder

As the founder of General Lighting Service, Inc. Steve brings over 30 years of comprehensive work experience in the electrical field. Steve is an accomplished electrical contractor and has extensive knowledge in all areas and aspects on electrical construction and design. He has proven success from installation and craft supervision to project management and ownership. Consequently, his effectiveness in a technically oriented discipline is unequaled. Throughout his career he has focused on specialized aspects of the electrical industry including education, sports facilities, telecommunication facilities, large tenant improvements, PG&E Rule 20 scope, pump stations, and transit projects. He is gifted with a strong ability to coordinate and manage any installation from design to turnover. The majority of his career has focused on complex public works and private sector projects throughout Northern California.

Christian Cusella

Pre-Construction Manager / Chief Estimator

Christian prepares conceptual estimates, giving the customer a budget that will hold from the schematic phase through to completion of the project. He generates value engineering options to save the customer money without sacrificing quality or design intent. Christian is experienced in all aspects of the electrical industry and brings a unique blend of expertise in business development, negotiations, estimating, design analysis and project management to this role.

Brian Liquori

General Foreman

Brian is a team-oriented professional with over 25 years of field experience in all areas of the electrical trade. He has served as the site foreman on many large projects and has extensive experience in education, tenant improvements, health-care, industrial and commercial facilities. He ensures quality and professional staffing of projects, coordinated manpower, material management scheduling and assists with engineering, layout and design. Brian is also responsible for making sure that production schedules are adhered to, addressing coordination issues on site and ensures job site safety.

David Seligman

Job Foreman

As a foreman with over 20 years of experience, Dave has extensive experience with schools, data centers, health-care, industrial and commercial facilities as well as medium voltage installations. Dave is involved with all phases of a construction project, from constructibility review to as-builts. A former dirt biker, with scars as proof, Dave is a stickler for safety and a strong advocate of sending his crew home safely, while adhering to strict schedules and milestones.

Connie Fuentes

Financial Operations

Connie oversees all financial operations including: accounting, payroll, and treasury. She is responsible for completing administrative and managerial tasks related to Union Compliance, the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Worker’s Compensation, Osha, and all insurances.

Connie’s multi-tasking skills ensure our day-to-day runs smoothly and she’s an integral part of GLS. Outside of work, you can find her spending time with her family and five grandchildren.
